Institute of Leadership and Management Level 4 Award in Management

This award aims to give managers the foundation for their formal development in this role.  The qualification does this by exploring the middle manager role, and to develop the skills needed in such a role and also to prepare candidates for the more rigorous demands of study at the higher level.

The unique Award has been developed in response to an identified need for those learners who wish to progress from a Level 3 qualification, but who may find the demands of a Level five (equating to second year degree level) too ambitious.  Credits can be carried forward to the Level 5 Certificate or Diploma at a later date.

Duration

4 days of guided learning usually delivered one day a week spread over one year, plus assessment

Assessment

Each candidate must complete a number of work based assignments
