Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 Award in Management
This is a short flexible programme which provides an introduction to the wide range of responsibilities of the middle manager. This qualification aims to give practitising or potential managers the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing basic middle management skills and assisting participants in gaining the basic knowledge required at this level.

6 days of guided learning usually delivered one day a week spread over one year, plus assessment

Each candidate must complete a number of work based assignment

Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 Certificate in Management
This qualification aims to give practicing or potential managers the foundation for their formal development in this role, the qualification does this by developing middle management skills and assisting participant in gaining the basic knowledge required at this level. It builds on the Award in Management and broadens the skills and knowledge in a flexible and practical way.
Participants are not required to undertake the Award before starting this qualification and may join the Certificate programmes directly.
The programme can generate significant payback for employers in terms of cost savings and quality improvements in the workplace.

20 days of guided learning usually delivered one day a week spread over one year. Additional reading materials are issued to support the learning.

Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 Diploma in Management
This qualification aims to give practising managers the skills required to succeed in their roles; it does this by developing a wide range of management skills and assisting participants in gaining the comprehensive knowledge required at this level. The qualification is more suited to the practicing managers, due to the more challenging demands of the programme.
Duration
30 days of guided learning usually delivered one day a week spread over one year. Additional reading materials are issued to support the learning.
