Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Professional Assessment of Competence (PAC)

Who is PAC aimed at?

This is a route into membership for personnel and development professionals with five years’ relevant managerial-level experience. PAC recognises your existing experience against practitioner-level Professional Standards. 

You will need to attend a diagnostic discussion. At your diagnostic discussion, an adviser will judge the likely success of this route for you before you incur any assessment costs.

If your application is accepted, you’ll need to provide evidence through a combination of assessment methods which will usually take between six and eighteen months to complete.

Once the assessor and our Membership team are satisfied that you’ve met out Professional Standards, you’ll be upgraded to Chartered Member
